The Adventure
Call to Action! (Photo of actual ship above, courtesy of Perry Golf)
Picture this: You're standing on the 17th tee at Cape Kidnappers, 500 feet above the Pacific Ocean, watching gannets wheel through the coastal thermals as you prepare to drive across a chasm that drops straight into churning surf. Tomorrow, you'll navigate the dramatic volcanic terrain of Wairakei, where geothermal steam rises from the earth beside emerald fairways. And each night, you'll return not to some landlocked resort, but to your floating basecamp—a luxury cruise ship that carries you through the legendary waters of the South Pacific.
This is golf as expedition. This is New Zealand.
Overview
This 16-night odyssey charts a course from Aukland to Melbourne. Along the way you'll play championship courses that rank among the world's most spectacular—tracks carved from cliffsides, threaded through ancient forests, and laid across landscapes so cinematic they've doubled for Middle-earth itself. Between rounds, you'll explore Maori cultural sites, hike across glaciers, jet boat through narrow gorges, and sample world-class wines in regions most golfers never reach.
This specific sailing includes 10 unique ports, five worldclass golf courses and a passage through the eighth wonder of the world, Milford Sound.
